Scotvalve Services provides extensive machine shop facilities and specialises in the repair, refurbishment, testing and re-certification of high pressure valves, xmas trees and well control equipment, downhole equipment and gas turbine components.

Investment in plant means we can offer a full range of services, from traditional milling and machining to the latest CNC technology. Whether from client’s drawings or those created by ourselves, on behalf of a client. Our machinists work in carbon, alloy and stainless steels as well as Inconel, duplex stainless and superduplex stainless steels.

General fabrication and welding of pipespools and steelwork is also undertaken, and the manufacture of metal components for all oilfield applications.

Scotvalves specialised welding division has the following processes, Multi Coded Manual, G.T.A.W, S.M.A.W. , S.A.W. and G.M.A.W. Welding. Profile Cutting, Pipespool Manufacture Structural Steel Manufacture.

CRA Weld Cladding, Vertical and Horizontal Hot Wire, Automatic T.I.G. Welding Stations with Column Boom and Rotary Tables.

The Quality Management System first gained approval to ISO 9002 1987 in May 1993 from Det Norske Veritas Quality Assurance and has since gained approval to BS.EN.ISO.9001 2000.
